MANTLEPARTNERSPrivate conversation
For advisors

Refer with confidence. The advisor relationshipremains the owner’s.

Mantle Partners works with accountants, solicitors and trusted advisors who are asked the quiet succession question by their clients. We handle the conversation; the advisor remains the owner's trusted relationship.

How we work with advisors

Support, never replace.

Four principles shape every advisor introduction we receive. None of them are negotiable.

  • The relationship stays with the advisor

The accountant or solicitor is usually the most trusted person in the owner's life. We support that relationship at every stage. The owner does not have to choose between an existing advisor and Mantle.

  • Confidential introduction, mutual NDA

Every introduction is covered by a confidentiality undertaking. The advisor controls what information is shared and when. We do not market, list or refer the business elsewhere.

  • No advisor fee. No referral commission.

Advisors do not pay Mantle, and Mantle does not pay advisors. The referral is a courtesy, not a commercial arrangement. This keeps the conversation cleanly aligned with the owner.

  • We brief openly throughout

Where the owner permits, we share notes from each step with their advisors. There is no 'between us' track. The conversation is transparent to the people the owner trusts.

Referral flow

Four short steps, all on the advisor’s terms.

The advisor controls pace, names, and the order of introductions. We do not contact owners directly without explicit advisor permission.

  1. 01

    Quiet introduction

An email or short call. The advisor lets us know an owner is thinking — no name needed at this stage if useful.

  2. 02

    Mutual NDA

We sign a mutual confidentiality undertaking before any specifics are shared. The advisor receives a copy.

  3. 03

    Owner-led conversation

We meet the owner — usually with the advisor present, sometimes after. The advisor's view shapes how the conversation runs.

  4. 04

    Considered outcome

A pathway, a defer, or a polite close. Whichever happens, the advisor remains the owner's first point of trust.

Who refers to Mantle

Independent accountants, solicitors and long-trust advisors.

Typically firms whose clients are owner-led, UK-based, often family-run or founder-run for ten years or more. If that describes your practice, we would be glad to hear from you.
